Rob Reimer helped a roomful of enthusiastic teachers reach intermediate level webmaster status by the end of his recent workshop Re-Turn to Front Page.  We will offer this class again on July 13th and there are seats still available.

Our Spring BCTUG meeting agenda featured presentations from Educational Resources’ Mary Ellen Pilch and Sunesys representative Brian Quigley (not to mention a wonderful buffet lunch catered by SaladWorks).

There wasn’t an empty seat in the house when Mike Ellis returned to the ETTC of Burlington for Adobe Photoshop for Beginners on February 15th.

Introduction to Computers (part 2) attracted a small crowd of enthusiastic teachers from Sacred Heart, BCSSSD, Mansfield and BCIT to the ETTC of Burlington on a snowy winter's day.

Burlington County teachers are hungry for ways to keep their computers humming along at peak efficiency.  That just may be why all the seats at the January 12th workshop PC Troubleshooting and Maintenance Tips were filled.  Session facilitator Mark Leung has agreed to return to the ETTC of Burlington to offer the class again on February 9th.

The January 7th agenda of BCTUG featured demonstrations of Promethean’s ACTIV board and the Genesis student online database.  The good news is that for the first time in recent memory, we didn’t have to worry about the threat of a snowstorm for our winter BCTUG meeting!

Summer 2004 ended on a happy note with a full house of enthusiastic teachers converging on the ETTC of Burlington, eager to build class webpages just in time for back to school.  Shawn Fitzpatrick showed them how easy it is to start with a Front Page template and quickly create and post a unique class webpage.  We will be hosting Shawn’s Class Webpage in a Box workshop again on October 7th and last time we checked, there were still seats available.

The ETTC of Burlington hosted its second annual Assistive Technology Institute for three days in mid-August with a focus on literacy skills.  Dr. Brian Friedlander and Tom Caine returned for their second summer as the trainers for the series.
