Here's looking at you...

One day in the not too distant past, at the ETTC of Burlington County:

There’s that old saying, “if you talk to yourself, you must have money in the bank.”  If a special educator is wearing a microphone and headset and talking to a computer, odds are good that it’s a voice recognition workshop.  Our thanks to Mike Marotta of CP/NJ for making the afternoon so much fun.

Dr. Brian Friedlander recently showcased the power of Kurzweil 3000 software to support literacy objectives for a room filled with area special educators at the ETTC of Burlington. There is another free demo of the software scheduled for October 29.  Seating is limited.  Call 856-222-9311 x3882 to register.

Our recent Back to School BCTUG meeting agenda featured a buffet lunch from Zagara’s, a virtual presentation from California based Think.Com, a sampling of new teacher electronic portfolios from Bordentown shared by Superintendent John Polomano and Roseann Moran, as well as an update on the video portal from Verizon.

Creating Lesson Plans with Word is fun and easy to do. A roomful of teachers seemed to agree one recent afternoon at the ETTC of Burlington working with Kathy Karsch.
