  A group of 25 district technology directors, media specialists and classroom teachers met at the ETTC of Burlington the week of September 18 to learn how to use iDVS to download video to their computer desktops.  It works!  

 

 

Twenty six BCIT teachers experienced a 5 day CyberCamp at the ETTC of Burlington this summer.  Their agenda included training in the use of PowerPoint, Excel and Internet in the classroom.  On August 11 they each received a certificate of completion and a brand new Dell laptop computer.  The CyberCamp was part of the Goals 2000 Grant Program at BCIT.

What do paper airplanes have to do with spreadsheets? Everything! Teachers attending our Excel Spreadsheet course recently generated data by throwing paper airplanes down the hallways. They first noted the distance, then entered the numbers in their first spreadsheet. Elizabeth McHenry of Lenape Regional helps her team's paper airplane take flight.

Special education professionals learn to use the Internet during World Wide Web Greatest Hits: Special Education training. The ETTC of Burlington just received a grant to fund the southern NJ Assistive Technology for Students with Disabilities Training Project.

 

 

June 1st marked the 500th workshop at the ETTC of Burlington. Thank you, BCIT for baking us such a beautiful cake for our big day!
